 Hello,
 
   the answer is simple: currently you can *not* query for other than ASCII
 western characters in the CFTREE applet. This is a very heavy CFTREE bug,
 already existing for years. I think that no European (or Asian for that matter)
 can understand why Allaire neglects these markets so ostentativly in this
 respect.
 But improvement has been announced: it is said that in Version 5, Unicode will
 be implemented.
