 ставлю из портов mysql 3.23.56 на FreeBSD 5.1 (порты не обновлялись с
 момента установки)
 
 make выдает следующее:

 checking if c++ supports bool types... yes
 checking if conversion of longlong to float works... Segmentation
 fault (core dumped)
 no
 configure: error: Your compiler cannot convert a longlong value to a float!
 If you are using gcc 2.8.# you should upgrade to egcs 1.0.3 or newer and try
 again

 Stop in /usr/ports/databases/mysql323-server.

 порт не собирается потому что не нравится компилятор?! Придется
 обновлять всю систему до 5.3 или можно обойтись только портами и
 компилятором?
