i looks basically very easy. acording to DBI::DBD man page all the
CLONE() methode has to do for now is to clear the cached driver
handle. i commited that (and other small stuff) into the CVS.

just a quick info: it's perl, not DBI and not DBD-InterBase.
i tried today on my linux box with perl 5.8.3, DBI-1.46: no problems.
so it's either something in 5.8.4 or only specific to activestate

Seems that 5.8.5 have fixed some bugs with threads. Now I want to
ubgrade my FreeBSD's FB to 1.5.1 and re-run the test.
