Hе решение поблемы, а только "информация для размышления" (результаты поиска
по ключевому слову supernetting в KB Novell-а)

 I. Из Novell-овского TID-а 10022990 (обновление 20/11/2000)
 ( http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/10022990.htm ) :

TCPIP.NLMs newer than July 1, 1999 (после v.5.21a, примечание мое) support
end-node supernetting. That new feature may be interfering with the ability to
correctly assume and bind a default mask
 Two simple work-arounds exist:
 (1) Make sure all "BIND IP..." statements contain a MASK= parameter.
 (2) Servers whose bindings were created (not imported) in INETCFG will not
have this problem, as INETCFG always adds a MASK= parameter.
 Defect 216466

 II. Из Novell-овского TID-а 10059828 (обновление 25/01/2001) по поводу NW5SP6a

The TCPIP stack was modified to support end-node CIDR (Classless addressing or
supernetting). Somewhere in the code change supernetting was broken. Although
INETCFG will not allow you to save an address - mask combination where the
mask is in a larger class that the address, this configuration will be saved
 in VPNCFG. However,
            Fix
Appears to be a bug in TCPIP.NLM version 5.32y. The problem should be
corrected in the next support pack (NW51SP3.EXE or NW5SP7.EXE). Change the IP
address and mask in VPNCFG so that they are in the same class or back-rev the
TCPIP stack to pre Support Pack 5.

 III. Из Novell-овского TID-а 2957353 (обновление 31/08/2000)

Manually edit netinfo.cfg to change the network mask to the desired value , in
this case 255.255.254.0. You will need to delete the netinfo.chk, or edit the
number to 0 to prevent INETCFG from giving you an error. See TID 10014694,
 http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/tidfinder.cgi?10014694.

 IV. Из Novell-овского TID-а 10059773 (обновление 26/09/2000)

 Symptom
 Cannot ping server
An attempt to bind a mask of 255.255.254.0 will result in an actual mask of
255.255.255.0, as displayed with the console command Config

 Change
 Installed nw50sp6a.exe or nw51sp2a.exe

 Cause
There is a bug in TCPIP.nlm v 5.32y preventing supernetting from working

 Fix
 Revert to TCPIP.nlm 5.32j from SP5 / SP1 (т.е. NW5SP5, NW5.1SP1, примечание
 мое)
         С уважением, Олег
