тогда тебе нужна программа под названием pom
В Дебиане она входит в пакет bsdgames. Вот пример работы:

[[[[[cc]yy]mm]dd]HH] Display the phase of the moon for a given time.
The format is similar to the canonical representaЅ
tion used by date(1).
