The initial boot code for the PowerPC 64-bit implementation is built for
32-bit
in ELF32 format even though it packages a 64-bit kernel. This is done to
simplify
the bootloader and increase compatibility with OpenFirmware.
This means that the make support for the initial boot code is configured to
compile it for 32-bit, separate from the 64-bit compilation done for the rest
of the kernel.
