I think the best way is:
1. backup your NTFS partition
2. delete NTFS and Extended partition
3. create new extended partition as big, as free space you'll have
4. in extended partition create /root, /boot, swap and NTFS partition
So you'll have something like this:
/dev/hda1
/dev/hda2 pri. dos
/dev/hda3 ext. dos
/dev/hda5 ntfs
/dev/hda6 /root
/dev/hda7 /boot
/dev/hda8 /
/dev/hda9 swap
Other way is to create only one partition (do you really need to place /boot and
/root on a separate partitions?) and place swap into a file (just like Windoze
do :] ) via the loop device. But may be you'll have some troubles installing RH
in this configuration.

I don't ever heard of such thing as "Linux's logical partitions". What do you
mean?
