 Почему может намертво вешать систему сабж? После зависа работает только RESET.
 RH 6.2 Cirillic Edition, Linux инк. www.linux-ink.ru.
 Ядро я попытался откомпилировать родное с дистрибутива (2.2.14). При попытке его
 запуска я очень удивился. Оно вроде запустилось, а вроде и нет.
 Пишет только Init v2.xx и больше _ничего_. Дальше ничего не грузит.
 Ладно, подумал я, откомпилю 2.4.0-тест12. Включил поддержку звука, TCP/IP, PPP, 
 ParPort, Printer Support, NTFS ro. Запустил.
 Думаю, иксы нужны. Вроде работают, но иногда при запуске приложений, например,
 текст. редактор, виснут намертво. Hи три пальца не помогают, ни попытки
 переключиться в другую консоль...

 Ещё парочка вопросов. Что можно убрать из стартовых скриптов, если мне от Linux 
 нужно:
 - печать. Принтер HP DJ 820
 - DialUp internet connection (POP3, IMAP, SMTP, http, ftp, maybe ICQ)
 - FIDO
 - Звук
 
 Почему ядро не может проинитить мою звуковуху, о чем свидетельствует отмеченная 
 строчка. Хотя после загрузки звук работает нормально.
 Вторая отмеченная строчка мне не понятна. Почему ядро пытается что-то загрузить,
 для чего нужны сокет-драйверс, и нужно ли это мне вобще?
