Bug 350992 - boot into new install on software RAID fails with ext3,
works with Reiser
Everything worked fine in the first phase of new install with 2 software
RAID
partitions (md0 for /, md1 for /home, both ext3, swap not raided). When
trying
to boot from local disk, md0 cannot be seen. Error message:
Booting from local disk...
No operating system.
Repeated installation changing the order of the partitions, first with
swap at
the beginning, then swap at the end, with the same result.
Repeated installation, but this time formatted md0 as ReiserFS and
installation
proceeded without a hitch.
