spblinux:
* be root
* partition usb drive with one partition type 0x0C (win95 fat32 lba)
and format it with vfat
* mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/stick
* copy all files from spb to /mnt/stick and
put softlinks to kernel and ramdisk into /mnt/stick/boot
* echo (hd0) /dev/sda > /mnt/stick/boot/grub/device.map
* grub-install --root-directory=/mnt/stick /dev/sda
* cd /mnt/stick/boot/grub && cp menu.gz menu.lst.gz && gunzip menu.lst.gz
* umount /mnt/stick
* get usb stick to your target machine and boot it
