  Там кривой SCSI адаптер AIC-7777 . Поставь любой дистрибутив
 с ядром 2.0.х например RedHat 5.x а потом аккуратно подгони версию.
 Hо ядра работают не все, что-то в новых там опять сломано в aic-7xxx .
 
  Или поставь Linux на диск на _другом_ компутере и другом SCSI
 адаптере (лучше из семейства Adaptec AIC-7xxxx) а потом перенеси.
