 This can happen if packets queued for transmission were not sent within several
 seconds. Interface resets can also occur when an interface is looped back or
 shutdown.
 TRY THIS: Monitor the level of interface resets over time. If they are
 increasing, this could be a symptom of a hardware or configuration issue. Try
 swapping interfaces and or ports to identify the problem.

 P.S. Полезно бывает посмотреть еще статистику на порту "с другой стороны" - на
 свиче или роутере, к которому подключен интерфейс с резетами. Возможно, на
 что-то натолкнет.
